Questions Current Tenants Frequently Ask
Q: Something broke!
A: If it’s an emergency during business hours, call maintenance at 562 498 0159 x 22. If the emergency is after hours, please refer to your EMERGENCY PROCEDURES you received at move in. If it is not an emergency, please submit the request in your online portal or fill out a Repair Request Form.
Once your online portal is active you can also submit maintenance requests through Alexa.
Q: How do I pay my rent?
A: We offer online rent payments with E-Check (ACH). Log into your portal to pay rent. We also accept credit and debit cards. For tenants who prefer money order, we accept cash payments for rent made at 7-11 and CVS locations called “Pay Near Me”. If these options do not work for you rent can be mailed to our office with check or money order. Rent must arrive in the mail by the 1st of the month.
Rent checks should be made out to ABPMCo, Inc. and mailed to 6621 E. Pacific Coast Hwy. Ste 140, Long Beach, CA 90803
Q: I want to adopt a dog/cat/bird/reptile/chinchilla, are pets allowed?
A: Pet policies vary by building. Call the office at 562-498-0159 for details specific to your building. For a pet application, Pet Application.
Q: My water bill is high! The sprinklers are always on!
A: Fill out a (Green Idea Form) and let us know if your sprinklers are running too long/often/flooding the sidewalk or if you have other green ideas to help us conserve water and energy. For conservation tips, visit our going green page.
Q: I’m moving out, where do I send my 30-day notice?
A: Please log onto your tenant portal and select "30 Day Notice to Vacate". Please make sure to include your forwarding address.
Q: I’m moving out, where do I turn in my key(s)?
A: Your rent does not stop until the keys are turned into the office of ABPMCo,Inc. If you are moving out over the weekend please drop your keys into the drop box downstairs engraved with "A Better Property Management". Make sure to put them in a marked envelope and include your key turn in form.
