A key to managing apartment buildings efficiently and effectively is to drive by and walk around the buildings and houses often. Annual walk thru are done on each property to check the smoke detectors and to make sure there are no plumbing leaks or drips. We have recently incorporated checking for mildew, as this is the newest "hot point" with tenants.
